P&G Alumni Foundation and United Way Ghana distribute Economic Empowerment and Vocational Tools to Survivors of Child Trafficking in Greater Accra, Volta and Central Regions
In August, P&G Alumni Foundation and United Way Ghana began distribution of economic empowerment and vocational tools to survivors of child trafficking in the Greater Accra and Volta Regions. In the Greater Accra Region, United Way Ghana worked with Volta Revival Foundation and Engage Now Africa to support survivors in Ada East, Ada West and Tema Municipalities. In the Volta Region, United Way Ghana worked with the International Justice Mission to support survivors in Kudi Kope, Ehi and Ho in the Volta Region.
The distribution phase is targeted to reach 50 survivors of child trafficking within the 3 regions, providing them with vocational work tools that will help them rebuild their lives and achieve economic independence. With these tools, they can turn their skills into sustainable livelihoods, fostering hope and resilience. Economic empowerment is a critical step in breaking the cycle of exploitation and creating a future where every individual can thrive.
Special appreciation to P&G Alumni Foundation for funding this project and supporting the survivors. Together, we are helping survivors reclaim their futures and lead empowered, self-sufficient lives. We were glad to see the smiles and tears of joy as our survivors received their vocational work tools.
