United Way Ghana resumes office in 2026 with a Strategic Planning Session

We’re officially back at United Way Ghana!The United Way Ghana Team officially resumed work with a strategic planning session, bringing our minds, hearts, and expertise together to strategize, align priorities, and set the tone for a year of deeper impact across our communities. The team remains committed to strengthening partnerships, driving innovative solutions, and advancing social good for all. In 2026, United Way Ghana is dedicated to a purposeful and impactful year ahead.


United Way Ghana and Reidman Family organizes Back-To-School and Girls Closet Event for Six Schools in Tinkong, Eastern Region

United Way Ghana with support from the Reidman Family, organized a successful Back-To-School project for young learners in Tinkong, Eastern Region, reaching 6 schools and over 200 students with basic school supplies to commence the year. The beneficiary schools include Tinkong M/A Basic School, Tinkong Presby School, Tinkong SDA School, St. Paul’s Methodist School, Otariso Basic School, and Nyame Bekyere Basic School. 

During the Back-To-School event, the team also organized a Girl’s Closet event for 200 girls with the beneficiary schools, providing these young girls with sanitary pads to help promote proper period hygiene and boost their confidence to remain in school during their periods. Items presented to the schools for the Back-To-School project included textbooks and graph boards, to aid effective teaching and learning. 


United Way Ghana Organizes Progress Check-In Meeting with Winners of the Henkel Youth Empowerment Program

United Way Ghana recently held a progress check-in meeting with the winners of the Henkel Youth Empowerment Program, engaging them on their growth journey, celebrating key milestones achieved, and discussing practical ways to address any challenges they may be encountering in building their businesses.These engagements are essential to ensuring that young entrepreneurs receive not only financial support, but also guidance and accountability as they scale sustainably. We extend our sincere appreciation to Henkel for the soft grants and for investing in the potential of young innovators. Your commitment continues to enable youth-led enterprises to thrive and create meaningful impact within their communities.
