Vivo Energy Ghana and United Way Ghana Organizes Inspirational Learning Visit for La Enobal Basic School Students to McKingtorch Africa LLC
As part of the ongoing Green4Clean Environmental Sustainability Project, Vivo Energy Ghana and United Way Ghana organized an inspiring learning visit for students of La Enobal Basic School to Mckingtorch Africa LLC — and what an experience it was!
The students had the unique opportunity to engage with the creative team at Mckingtorch Africa and witness the fascinating process of converting plastic waste into functional items like tables, chairs, and other essentials.
From spectators to changemakers, the students rolled up their sleeves and participated in hands-on upcycling activities, turning bottle tops and dispenser bottles into beautiful cream containers and flower pots.
A big thank you to Vivo Energy Ghana for sponsoring the Green4Clean Project in La Enobal Basic School and supporting these young people to become future leaders in environmental action. Your commitment is helping us build a generation that sees waste not as a problem, but as a resource.

United Way Ghana Conducts a Field Assessment Visit to Ada in Greater Accra to Evaluate the Ongoing Impact of the Anti-Child Trafficking Project
On Tuesday, the United Way Ghana team, in partnership with Engage Now Africa Ghana, conducted a field assessment visit to Ada in Greater Accra to evaluate the ongoing impact of our Anti-Child Trafficking Project.
Funded by the P&G Alumni Foundation, the project empowered beneficiaries with skills and tools to build sustainable livelihoods, reducing vulnerability to trafficking.
During our visit, we were thrilled to witness how the training and support provided are transforming lives. Many of our beneficiaries have successfully launched their small businesses, and we visited some of their shops to see firsthand how the tools are being used to enhance their trade.
Their stories of resilience and growth are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when the right support reaches the right hands. Watch out for a short video story soon.
Special thanks to the P&G Alumni Foundation for making this journey impactful.
