United Way Ghana fights for the economic success of people by creating income generating opportunities.

Achievements under Income Generation:

Financial stability

Income - Over 100 people have benefitted from UW Ghana’s bee-keeping project

From 2013-2015, a new education initiative started by United Way Ghana increased student enrollment by 1,000, constituting 27% increment. Six new Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) have been formed to improve school governance and more than 35% of parents reported greater participation in their ward’s education in Asawasi, a community in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

More than 10,000 children in 15 schools have benefited from a school infrastructural development project in Greater Accra, Eastern, and Ashanti Regions of Ghana.
