United Way Ghana and PwC Ghana organize Breast Cancer Awareness for students of Accra Wesley Girls High School

In commemoration of this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month which was in October, United Way Ghana in collaboration with Pwc Ghana and the Kaneshie Polyclinic, engaged over 1,200 young girls at Accra Wesley Girls High School through an Empowerment and Breast Cancer Awareness session.United Way Ghana believes deeply that early detection of breast cancer helps to save lives and this necessitated the holistic awareness session organized for the girls. Our goal was to ensure that the girls are informed, they become powerful agents of change, breaking myths, sparking important conversations, and inspiring healthier choices within their families and communities.
We extend our appreciation to PwC Ghana for funding this project, and to the Kaneshie Polyclinic for providing the medical personnel that facilitated the engagement sessions during the event.
