United Way Ghana participates in the Prudential Life Insurance Ghana PRURide Event hosted in Accra, Ghana

United Way Ghana participated at the Prudential Life Insurance Ghana #PRURide 2025 event hosted at the iconic Black Star Square, alongside hundreds of cycling enthusiasts who came together to keep fit, have fun, and network. United Way Ghana was represented by Joseph Matthew, Communications Coordinator and WASH Project Lead, who experienced riding again after many years, and even more exciting as he tried out the Yenko Mobility ebikes.

As advocates of sustainable living and clean energy, the PRURide 2025 was not only fun but also a reminder on the importance of physical fitness and sustainable means of movement, which is evident in the use of bicycles. We celebrate our donor partner, Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, for six years of championing health, wellness, and the sport of cycling through the PRURide, and for their continued support as a key partner on our PRU Climate Action Project in Chorkor.

Congratulations to all the winners, professional and amateur alike, and to every participant who made this year’s edition a success.

United Way Ghana and Reidman Family implements the 20th Edition of the Nyansapo Scholarship Project in Akropong

The start of every school year is always filled with excitement, as students reconnect with friends, meet new teachers, and set goals for the new school year. At United Way Ghana, we believe that this is the best time to provide the necessary school supplies needed to inspire these young leaders as they commence the school year.

United Way Ghana was at Akropong in the Eastern Region of Ghana to implement the 20th edition of the Nyansapo Scholarship Project, generously funded by the Reidman Family. This edition supported 90 primary and secondary school students with essential school supplies such as uniforms, bags, books, stationery, and shoes — helping them stay in school and access quality education.

We remain deeply grateful to the Reidman Family for their consistent support over the years, making a lasting impact on the welfare of students in Ghana. As we continue this journey, we invite you to join us by supporting our Back-to-School Campaign fundraiser. Beyond academics, “Back-To-School” is about building confidence, nurturing creativity, and fostering resilience.
